Anton Maskeliade

Anton Maskeliade is one of the first artists in the world that creates music and visuals with gesture control technology leap motion.

Innovation and improvisation are big part of his work and performance that combines music and visual art. Developing gesture control technique by using his body, movements and gestures with help of different devices he creates music and visuals, audio and video effects synchronizing them into new stunning soundscapes while experimenting with genres from electronica to contemporary pop. People who saw Maskeliade call him “gesture wizard” – his innovative, interactive and passionate live performances are so breathtaking, fascinating, warm and captivating and his music so unique that it transforms his creation into a whole new magical ephermal world, amazing to hear, experience, watch and be a part of.

Maskeliade is one of the most exciting new artists, musicians and producers of today. He recently won the “Kuryokhin Contemporary Art Awards” in category Electro-Mechanics, for the achievements in the field of electronic music.

 His first album “Subtract the Silence of Myself ” released in Russia in 2014. attracted attention from all around the world and he was nominated as a debutant for “The Steppenwolf Award”, independent music award. His music career started in USA when he was a part of OneBeat program for the talented young artists.  

Maskeliade performed in New York, Washington, Orlando, Charleston, Luzern, Stockholm, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Paris, Vienna, Bratislava, Ljubljana…in clubs, museums and galleries, on tv and radio show, within art, music, technology and science events, at exhibitions, conferences, parties, international festivals like Avantfest, Archstoyanie, Stereoleto, Polytech.Science.Art, Plums VI, Fields, Waves, Ment, Electro-mechanics…He share the stage with musicians like Moderat, Emika, The Herbaliser, Sun Glitters, The Glitch Mob, Dub FX, Xeno & Oaklander and Usman Raiz. 

In 2015. Maskeliade has been invited to perform at Canadian Music Week (CA), Liverpool Sound City (UK), Glastonbury festival (UK), Pohoda festival (SK), Fusion festival (DE), Dimensions festival (CRO), Colisium (RU).
