Ilya Lagutenko

The lead singer of “Mumiy Troll” band, a well-known Soviet and Russian musician. Born in Moscow he considers Vladivostok his homeland.

For the last three years he has been organizing V-ROX International Music Festival together with his team, adhering to the idea of musical diplomacy. Ilya Lagutenko believes that the seaside town has a unique potential to become a bridge between Asia and Russia. One of the ways to make Vladivostok an international place is to develop modern musical and cultural contacts.

The main aim of V-ROX is to discover music from Russia and Asia-Pacific countries. In fact, V-ROX became the first festival in Russia, attended not only by new artists and local superstars, but also international professionals. Organizers of festivals, concert agents and producers, Goodwill Ambassadors, and even ministers are among them. It is a rare opportunity for young musicians to show themselves and their ambitions, to get advice and feedback on their projects.
